VAMPIRE 10K
PACKAGING SOLUTIONS & CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT
THE BRIEF
THIS PROJECT SHOWS THE WHOLE PROCESS OF DEVELOPMENT, FROM INITIAL BRANDING, TO PACKAGING, ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO A MARKETING CAMPAIGN & ASSETS. VAMPIRE 10K IS A BRAND NEW HARDWARE, 10+2ML PREFILLED POD DEVICE. THIS IS AN INITIATIVE IN RESPONSE TO THE DISPOSABLE BAN IN THE UK, CREATING AN ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT THAT IS SIMILAR IN USE BUT COMPLIANT WITH REGULATIONS. IN THIS INSTANCE, WE WERE TRYING TO CREATE A NEW BRAND FROM VAMPIRE VAPE, TO DIVERT AWAY BUT KEEPING CLOSE TO OUR ROOTS. THIS WAS A BIG PROJECT, SO A WHOLE TEAM EFFORT WAS REQUIRED IN TERMS OF BRANDING & CREATING A NEW & EXCITING FEEL.

DESPITE VLAD BEING SEEN AS THE ICON / MASCOT OF THE BRAND, REGULATIONS WON'T ALLOW FOR HIM TO STAY A PART OF THE BRAND (WHETHER IN THE UK OR INTERNATIONALLY). THEREFORE, HE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF THE LOGO.
PURPLE CLOUDS BACKGROUND KEY FOR BRAND, USED ON ALL COLLATERAL, PACKAGING, POS ETC.
MODERNISE THE FONT TO MAKE LESS GOTHIC & APPEAL TO THE MODERN DAY AUDIENCE.

• READY TO VAPE SEEN AT THE TOP AS A CLEAR MESSAGE TO THE CONSUMER. THIS IS WHAT THEY WILL SEE FIRST, & IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT BITS OF INFORMATION. CONSUMERS WANT SOMETHING AS CLOSE TO DISPOSABLES AS POSSIBLE, SO OUR DEVICE BEING READY TO VAPE GIVES THEM THE BIGGEST CONVENIENCE. NO FUSS, EASY TO USE & PERFECT FOR A NIGHT OUT, ATTRACTING ANY KIND OF AUDIENCE.
• FLAVOUR NAME IS CLEAR, MAKING IT EASY FOR THE CONSUMER TO BUY ON SHELF & KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GETTING.
• DEVICE IS CLEARLY SHOWN & SITUATED UPRIGHT, GIVING GOOD, EASY TO UNDERSTAND VISUALS OF THE NEW PRODUCT. BRAND LOGO IS ALSO CLEAR IN THE CENTRE.
• THE DIAGONAL, ZIG-ZAG PATTERN IN THE BACKGROUND GIVES A CLEAN, MODERN LOOK TO THE PACKAGING. THIS CONTRASTS WELL WITH WHITE TO ALLOW THE DEVICE COLOURS TO STAND OUT, WHILST TYING IN WITH COMPETITORS FOR SIMILAR STYLES OF DESIGN.
KEY CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
• MAKE THE PRODUCT PROMINENT & EASY TO VIEW FOR THE CONSUMER
• KEEP THE BRAND LOGO IN VIEW, WHETHER VIA THE DEVICE OR ELSEWHERE ON THE DESIGN
• KEEP FUTURISTIC & MODERN, TO BE ABLE TO ATTRACT A YOUNGER AUDIENCE AS WELL AS THE CORE CONSUMER OF VAMPIRE VAPE, WHICH IS A MIDDLE-AGED DEMOGRAPHIC
• BRIGHT COLOURS ARE KEY, WHICH CAN BE EASILY USED FROM THE BRIGHTNESS OF EACH DEVICE
• HIGHLIGHT THE KEY USP'S OF THE DEVICE, BEING IT'S COMPACT SIZE & TURBO MODE




FINAL DESIGN

TAGLINE EMPHASISES THE KEY USP OF THE DEVICE, THAT IT IS EASY TO FIT IN YOUR POCKET & GOOD FOR TRANSPORT & PUBLIC USE. USE OF BRAND FONTS GIVES A NOD BACK TO VAMPIRE VAPE & ORIGINAL BRAND.
DEVICE PROMINENT AT CENTRE OF DESIGN, EASY TO SHOW WHAT IT IS AS WELL AS THE BRAND LOGO.
OTHER USP'S ADDED, GIVES IN DEPTH RUN DOWN OF EVERYTHING THAT MAKES THE DEVICE WORTH BUYING.
