THE BRIEF
VAMPIRE VAPE WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2012, WITH A VISION TO BE A KEY PLAYER IN THE E-LIQUID INDUSTRY. NOW IN 2025, THE VISION HAS BECOME A REALITY. WITH MARKET LEADING PRODUCTS, SUCH AS: HEISENBERG & PINKMAN, THE BRAND TOOK THE MARKET BY STORM.
HOWEVER, THIS WAS A LONG TIME AGO. THE INDUSTRY HAS MOVED ON & EVOLVED. COMPETITORS FROM OVERSEAS ARE TAKING OVER, WITH DIFFERENT DEVICES, FLAVOURS & PRODUCTS FOR CONSUMERS TO BE ENGAGED WITH. BUT WITH THIS MODERNISATION COMES DIFFERENT BRANDS, DIFFERENT MESSAGING & DIFFERENT WAYS OF COMMUNICATING. THIS IS WHERE VAMPIRE VAPE HASN'T EVOLVED. A LOGO MADE AROUND 10 YEARS AGO WITH A CARTOON AS IT'S KEY ICON DOESN'T FIT TRENDS & CERTAINLY DOESN'T FIT NEW REGULATIONS.
TO EVOLVE, WE NEEDED TO COME UP WITH A DESIGN WHICH CAN BE DRAFTED IN A PHASED WAY, SHOWING A PROCESS OF EVOLUTION WITHOUT CHANGING TOO MUCH TOO SOON & ALIENATING THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMER BASE.
THE EXISTING BRAND


MAKE 'VAPE' THE SAME SIZE AS 'VAMPIRE', TO KEEP IN PROPORTION. EVENTUALLY LOOKING TO PHASE OUT 'VAPE', TO ALLOW US TO MOVE FREELY DOWN OTHER MARKETS.
DESPITE VLAD BEING SEEN AS THE ICON / MASCOT OF THE BRAND, REGULATIONS WON'T ALLOW FOR HIM TO STAY A PART OF THE BRAND (WHETHER IN THE UK OR INTERNATIONALLY). THEREFORE, HE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF THE LOGO.

MODERNISE THE FONT TO MAKE LESS GOTHIC & APPEAL TO THE MODERN DAY AUDIENCE.

BLOOD DROPLET, LINKS BACK TO THE BRAND NAME OF 'VAMPIRE', BEING BLOOD THIRSTY. ALSO CAN BE SEEN AS AN E-LIQUID DROPLET, TO LINK TO THE INDUSTRY OF THE BRAND.

BRAND NAME COULD BE HARDER TO READ DUE TO BEING ROTATED 90 DEGREES.

SHAPE OF THE LOGO RESONATES A FANG, LINKING TO A KEY FEATURE OF VAMPIRES. THE INNER WHITE TRIANGLE GIVES THE IDEA OF A TOOTH, WHILE THE RED LINKS TO THE BLOOD THIRSTY IDEA.

TWO THIN V SHAPES LINK TO THE 'VV' ABBREVIATION, BUT COULD EASILY BE READ AS A 'W', WHICH COULD CAUSE CONFUSION WITH THE CONSUMER.
CHUNKIER FONT GIVES A MORE GOTHIC FEEL, BUT IN A MODERN WAY.
